An extremely courteous and polite surgeon who throughout my experience of having a Supapath Hip Replacement kept me informed and supported. The team around him worked effortlessly to provide a reassuring atmosphere when having the surgery and I felt completely reassured and at ease under his hand.

I had the SuperPath hip replacement procedure which was totally successful. The care and attention from Mr Faisal and the staff at the Nuffield hospital were exemplary. I am a competitive triathlete and within 2 weeks of the operation I was able to start low key cycling on the static bike, after 5 weeks I did a 50mile bike ride. Do the exercises, be positive and a normal healthy life is achievable.

Mr Mohammad Faisal was referred to me by a local physiotherapist, who had also recently received a full hip replacement. I am so grateful for the introduction, as Mr Faisal has been outstanding from the very first appointment, prior to the surgery and also post surgery. I have recently had a 3-week follow up appointment and I am healing very well and getting on with my life again. I was able to return to work within a week of the procedure and mobility has improved pretty much on a daily basis since. I have started training again as I am a keen cyclist and I hope to regain the high level of fitness that I had before arthritis stopped me some me cycling 12-months ago. The procedure was completed at the BMI Meriden and again the quality of care there was first class. The medical team, nursing and physiotherapy was also of a very high standard and my 2-night stay in hospital was a very positive experience. To summarise a first class outcome and I would strongly recommend anyone with hip of knee problems to contact Mr Mohammad Faisal.

He completed his UK training in the West Midlands, Sheffield and Warwick. He also did a one year fellowship in hip and knee arthroplasty in the UK and supplemented this with fellowships at world renowned lower limb reconstruction units at Mayo Clinic, USA and at Vancouver General Hospital, Canada.

Mr Faisal has extensive experience in primary and revision hip and knee replacement especially minimally invasive hip replacement, ceramic on ceramic and uncemented hip replacements.

A SUPERPATH Hip replacement technique is designed to precisely reconstruct the hip without cutting muscles and tendons or stretching muscles that are important for hip function.

Mr Faisal also offers customised total knee replacement surgery using patient specific instruments to streamline total knee replacement surgery according to patients anatomy. The Zimmer Patient Specific Instruments Planner is the next generation in surgical planning. The surgeon can preoperatively view the patient’s anatomy in its purest geometrical form to develop a customised surgical plan for each patient.

Mr Faisal has been working as a Consultant in Lower Limb surgery at Warwick Hospital since 2008
